Technology Training Programs
WHOLESALE HEATING, AIR CONDITIONING, REFRIGERATION AND CONTROLS
RSC’s commitment to improving the skill level of today’s technicians is so strong that we’ve created a series of fundamental HVACR courses designed to assist an entry-level or intermediate level tech in acquiring the necessary installation and servicing skills.
The seven courses listed below are from 9 to 18 weeks in length. They are held in the evenings, once a week, allowing students and contractors to maintain a normal daytime work schedule.
RSC has invested significant dollars in a number of labs. This provides valuable hands-on experience to augment the classroom training. At Valley View we have an HVAC lab with 10 operating furnaces and air conditioners, a commercial refrigeration lab with a walk-in freezer, reach-in coolers, and ice machines, and finally, a sheet metal lab, with a full complete of breaks, a shear, a Pittsburgh, rollers, and edgers.
In Columbus we have an HVAC Lab, also with 10 furnaces and condensing units, plus a Light Commercial Refrigeration Lab.
