The ProTecs Program began in 1987. It was a reaction to the need for better-trained technicians. It also took on the challenge of helping contractors retain their better-performing techs.
ProTecs consists of training discounts for all our Technology, FasTrac, and Skills Training Courses. It also involves some social activities designed to recognize the accomplishments of a company’s better techs. A special effort is the emphasis on getting as many individuals NATE-certified as possible. To this end RSC offers preparatory classes as well as NATE testing.
NATE certification enhances a tech’s image of himself, improves a contractor’s profitability (fewer callbacks & quicker system diagnoses), and ultimately increases customer/homeowner satisfaction.
